F Series Basic Specifications
We offer 2 different F-Series chassis. Click on the “links” for more detail.
- F-42: Two-person, high performance sand rail/buggy..
- F-44: 4-Seat version of F-42.
All F-Series come standard with the following.
Frame: 11/2″ 4130 steel tubing. Tig welded. Integral welded steel flooring. Powder coated.
Suspension: Custom fabricated front A-Arms, and rear swing-arms. Gear-One Billet front spindles, Gear-One 930 Mid-Board hubs with race polished cv’s. King 14″x2.5″ coil-over front shocks. King 16″x2″ coil-over rears with 18″x2.5″ by-pass shocks, providing 18″ of travel at each corner.
Steering: Gear-One Billet HD Steering rack, with power assist.
Lights: Two PIAA forward facing lights, and one Red LED rear Tail/Brake light.
Body: Aluminum body fastened with Dzus buttons. Powder coated.
Brakes: Gear-One two piston front Calipers, and four piston rear. Billet pedal assembly with balance bar.
Transaxle: Standard: Vanagon 091 with race gear set, super-diff, 4130 drive flanges, new bearings, seals, syncros and CNC hydraulic slave cylinder. Gear-One 300M axles.
Wheels/Tires: Douglas billet aluminum wheels with bead-locks. Padla Track rear paddles and front Triple Razor.
Engine: 2.2l Chevrolet Ecotec by Turn-Key. 170BHP, water-cooled, fuel injected.
Interior: PRP Seats, Simpson 5-point safety harness, Gear-One Billet wink mirror, quick release steering wheel.
Fuel system: 22 gallon poly fuel cell with foam baffles. One quart accumulator, gm fuel pump, and filter.
Cooling System: Aluminum cross-flow radiator, Flex-a-lite electric fan and stainless-steel water transfer tubes.
All F-Series buggies are built-to-order and constructed to customer specifications.
