About the Role: We’re seeking a talented and versatile mechanic to join our vehicle restoration and specialty vehicle build department. You’ll be working on various exciting projects, including air-cooled Volkswagens, full vehicle restorations, and custom builds such as dune buggies, sandrails, and other specialty vehicles. Your role will also involve assisting with fabricating products we manufacture here at Acme.
Whether you’re an experienced mechanic or looking to expand your skill set, we provide on-the-job training to help you thrive in our shop.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working on air-cooled Volkswagens, custom builds, and specialty restorations
- Assembling and fabricating dune buggies, sandrails, and unique vehicles
- Assisting in the production of company-manufactured products
- Custom welding and assembly work
- Keeping an eye on quality and precision throughout the restoration and building process
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience required (preferably in automotive, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a creative and skilled team
- Passion for working on specialty vehicles and restoration projects
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Flexible 8-hour shifts)
