A classic buggy with a slightly different look. The LANCER is an 80″ wheelbase body. A differently shaped hood, slightly raised fenders and an extended rear deck with a removable engine cover distinguish the LANCER.
It retains the NOSTALGIA dash, and overall dimensions. The LANCER is a 2 seat body with a rear jump seat or storage area. The body comes standard with the hood fitted and mounted. Molded in fiberglass with a durable “gel coat” finish, the LANCER needs no painting.Choose from a large list of “standard” colors, or, for an additional charge add some sparkle with a “metal flake” finish.
The LANCER also mounts on a 14 1/2″ shortened VW floor pan, but, we suggest you purchase our jig built, square tube, NOSTALGIA frame. This frame is built using new steel tubing, and makes your build much easier, with a stronger frame, which still accepts standard VW type-1 components.
