Acme Car Company, specializes in several specific, but related areas. The areas are; Air Cooled Volkswagens, Sand Rail/dune buggies, Kit Cars, and custom fabrication.
AIR COOLED VOLKSWAGEN: The majority of the companies efforts involve air cooled volkswagens. We build, or rebuild engines and transmissions, stock to full out modified. We also do restorations, or upgrades of chassis or running gear. We carry an EXTENSIVE inventory of parts dedicated to the air cooled enthusiast of all types.

KIT CARS: Our involvement in kit cars is based on the idea that many kit cars are built around air cooled VW chassis, or running gear. We can supply the parts to build your kit car, help with your current project, or build a complete “turn key” car.
DUNE BUGGIES/SAND RAILS: Acme Car Company’s first fabrication project was a sand rail, followed by several dune buggies ( VW based). Our fully equipped shop is ready to build, repair, or modify your buggy, or rail.
CUSTOM FABRICATION: We love to build things. Our staff has a wide range of experience, and expertise in the automotive world. Street Cars, Dune Buggies, Drag Cars, Road Race and Outlaw Sprint Cars, are all projects we have built, driven and raced. If you have something special in mind, talk to us.
